- 1 cup sugar
- 1 ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ⅔ cup milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ⅓ cup oil
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease the pan.
Mix the dry ingredients, then whisk the wet ingredients.
Combine gently. Do not overmix!
Bake for 30–35 minutes, then cool for 15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Employ room temperature ingredients for a seamless batter consistency. Frost, however, you like.
