Equipment

  • Blender
  • Tall glasses
  • Espresso machine or strong coffee brewer

Ingredients

  • 8 regular Oreo cookies
  • 4 large scoops chocolate ice cream about 2 cups
  • cup whole milk
  • ¼ cup cooled espresso or strong brewed coffee
  • 2 tbsp chocolate syrup plus extra for drizzling
  • ½ cup whipped cream
  • Chocolate shavings for garnish optional but fancy

Instructions

  • Brew your espresso — Then let it chill for a few minutes.
  • Chill the glasses — You know the drill.
  • Blend it up — Add Oreos, chocolate ice cream, milk, espresso, and chocolate syrup into the blender. Blend until smooth and rich.
  • Drizzle + pour — Coat the inside of your glasses with chocolate syrup (extra style points). Then pour in that mocha goodness.
  • Top like a pro — Whipped cream, chocolate drizzle, chocolate shavings… go wild.

Notes

  • Not big on strong coffee flavor? Just use 2 tablespoons of espresso.
  • No espresso machine? Mix 1–2 teaspoons of instant coffee with a spoon of hot water — works great.
  • Want maximum chocolate? Swap in Chocolate Oreos for the regular ones.
