Puff pastry is basically baking cheat mode. You can make jam-filled pastries that look like you bought them at a café — but you did it in your slippers.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 puff pastry sheet
  • 3 tbsp jam
  • 1 egg (for brushing)
  • Powdered sugar (optional glam)

Instructions
 

  • Heat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Cut the pastry into squares, add jam, and fold the corners in.
  • Brush with egg and bake until golden (12–15 minutes).
  • Dust with sugar if you’re feeling extra.

Switch jam for Nutella or lemon curd — no wrong answers here.
