Ice Cream Sundae
Olivia Carter
You can’t go wrong with this one — a creamy scoop (or three) of your favorite ice cream, drizzled with chocolate or caramel, loaded with whipped cream, crunchy bits, and of course, that cherry on top. It’s sweet, it’s cold, and it makes any day better.

For 1 glorious serving:
- 2–3 scoops ice cream
- 1 tbsp chocolate syrup or hot fudge
- 1 tbsp caramel sauce (optional but so good)
- ¼ cup whipped cream
- 1 tbsp chopped nuts (peanuts or walnuts are perfect)
- 1 tbsp rainbow sprinkles
- 1 maraschino cherry
- (Optional) Cookie crumbs, fruit bits, or brownie chunks if you’re extra👩🍳 How to Make It
Chill the glass — Pop it in the freezer for 5 minutes so your ice cream stays firm longer.
Drizzle the sauce — Swirl chocolate and caramel inside the glass.
Add your scoops — Drop in 2 or 3 big ones. Don’t skimp on the scoops.
Add more sauce! — A little drizzle on top never hurts.
Top with whipped cream — Go big.
Sprinkle toppings — Nuts, sprinkles, cookie bits… go crazy.
Crown with a cherry — No sundae is complete without it.
Serve immediately — Grab a spoon before it melts.
-
Keep your ice cream frozen until the very last second.
-
Drizzle sauces both inside the glass and over the ice cream for full flavor.
-
Don’t worry if you don’t have a sundae glass — a coffee mug works too!
-
Try fun variations with fruit, cookies, or even a drizzle of espresso (affogato-style).
