  • Whisk
  • Spatula
  • oven optional

Ingredients

  • 4 medium croissants
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ cup half-and-half or milk
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 Pinch nutmeg
  • 2 tbsp butter for frying
  • syrup, powdered sugar, berries, whipped cream Toppings

Instructions

  • Oven to 200°F if you want to keep stuff warm.
  • Whisk eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg till smooth in that bowl.
  • Dip croissant halves quick—flip, press, drip off excess (no mush marathons).
  • Butter up the skillet on medium, fry 4 -3 halves cut-side down 5 mins per side till golden. Oven 'em warm.
  • Repeat with the rest, more butter if needed. Pile on toppings and dig in hot!

Notes

  • Stale croissants soak like champs without crumbling—day-olds rule.
  • Quick dips only, or it's soggy city.
  • Lefties? Fridge 'em, nuke or air fry to revive crisp.
  • Jazz it with berries, nuts, or stuffed surprises. Endless fun!
