Equipment

  • 1 Blender or juicer
  • 1 Fine mesh strainer nut milk bag, or cheesecloth
  • 1 Knife & cutting board
  • 2 Glasses

Ingredients

  • 6 Ripe plums The stars of the show
  • ½ lemon The zesty sidekick
  • 1 cup Water For blending
  • 2 tsp Honey Only if your plums are shy with sweetness

Instructions

  • Wash plums, chop them in half, and toss the pits. No peeling needed! Juice your lemon half.
  • Juicer users: run the plum pieces and lemon juice through your machine, then stir in honey if you want.
  • Blender fans (like me): Blend plums, lemon juice, water, and honey until smooth.
  • Strain the mix through your sieve or cloth to catch the pulp, pressing down to get all the juice out.
  • Serve over ice and drink up! Or chill it if you’ve got the patience.

Notes

  • Best enjoyed fresh for maximum Vitamin C retention.
  • Adjust the sweetness based on the ripeness of plums.
  • Can substitute honey with maple syrup, agave, or keep it unsweetened.
  • To store: keep in a sealed jar in the fridge for up to 3–4 days.
