Apple Pie
Olivia Carter
apple pie doesn’t have to be this huge baking project. Grab some pre-made crust (because who’s got time to roll dough?) and a few juicy apples. Mix them with sugar, cinnamon, and a bit of nutmeg, pile it all into that crust, throw a few butter cubes on top, and soon your kitchen will smell heavenly in 10 minutes flat.

- 1 pre-made pie crust (top + bottom)
- 5 apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp = best combo of tart + sweet)
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp butter, cubed
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Toss your sliced apples with sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.
Drop them into the crust, dot with butter, and cover with the second crust.
Seal the edges, slice a few steam vents, and bake until golden and done (about 40 minutes).
Let it cool a bit, then serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream — trust me, it’s a must.
Store-bought crust = stress-free life. Feeling fancy? Swap it for puff pastry for next-level flakiness.
